Nathan
Englander was born in New York in 1970. His short fiction has won
prestigious awards and has appeared in numerous anthologies. His story
collection, For the Relief of Unbearable Urges, was published in 1999.
The Ministry of Special Cases, his first novel, was published in 2007.
Englander was selected as one of “20 Writers for the 21st Century” by
The New Yorker. After living for some years in Jerusalem, he currently
lives in New York City.
